Overall good cookie recipe! Great in a pinch! The dough looked a bit pasty but the cookies came out fine. I halved the recipe which made a dozen cookies. Fun to make with kids 🙂

What a great cookie recipe!! Mine were a little wrinkly, but still beautifully chewy with the right amount of richness. I plan on using this as a base for my M&M cookies. Going to see how big I can get them !!

If your chocolate chip cookies are coming out puffier than expected, here are a few tips to adjust their texture:

Measuring Flour: If there’s too much flour, cookies can puff up. Spoon the flour into the measuring cup and level it off without packing it down.

Baking Soda/Powder: Double-check the amounts. Too much leavening agent can make cookies puffy.

Chill the Dough: If the dough is too warm, chilling it in the fridge for about 30 minutes before baking can help.

Oven Temperature: If the oven isn’t hot enough, cookies can spread less and puff more.
