How do you use THIS mix. What do I need to add to the premade mix. The recipes you share are stand alone recipes they don’t call for this mix.

Crisco is a brand of shortening, so yes you can use that!

It depends what kind of biscuits you are making! This is a recipe just for the mix, but you could try my butter biscuit recipe for further instructions!
