You can also use Italian sausage or ground pork.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Onion \u2013<\/strong> Brown onion is best, but any type of onion you have is fine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Garlic \u2013<\/strong> Fresh minced garlic is the most flavorful. Jarred garlic will work, but it can have a bitter taste if it has been open in your fridge for a long time.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Red Pepper Flakes \u2013<\/strong> Just a little is used to add a bit of spice to the dish. You can omit the red pepper flakes if you prefer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tomato Paste \u2013 <\/strong>It\u2019s a concentrated version of tomato sauce. Tomato paste adds even more tomato flavor to the spaghetti.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Marinara Sauce \u2013 <\/strong>A jar of your favorite marinara is needed for this recipe. You can also use <a href=\"https:\/\/cravinghomecooked.com\/marinara-sauce\/\">homemade sauce<\/a> if you like, but a jar of store-bought sauce will work perfectly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Italian Seasonings \u2013<\/strong> This mix of dried herbs is typically a blend of basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, and marjoram.
