For this recipe, you will need:
1 loaf of crusty French or Italian bread, cubed
2 cups of vegetable stock
1 stick of butter
3 stalks of celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2-3 tsp minced garlic
4 eggs
1 cube vegetable Maggi
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp marjoram
2 tsp black pepper
Steps:
- Melt butter in a large pot.
- Add onions, garlic, celery, and onion and cook on low-medium heat until tender, about 10 minutes
- Turn off the heat and add Maggi, pepper, poultry seasoning, thyme, and marjoram. Mix thoroughly.
- Add the bread cubes and toss until well coated with veggies, butter, and seasoning.
- Add the vegetable stock and eggs and mix thoroughly.
- Pour this mixture carefully into a buttered Bundt pan. Press the bread cubes into the mixture with the back of a spoon.
- Bake at 375 F for 50-55 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let rest for five minutes.
- Invert Bundt pan onto serving dish.
- Serve immediately!
