My friend Laurel told me about these delicious little snacks she tried when visiting her boyfriend’s family for the Christmas holiday. When I went shopping for the ingredients, I found the recipe on the back of the candy bag! I’m tweaking it a little because Mark isn’t crazy about pecans. For this recipe, you will need:
- a bag of square, grid-style pretzels, or wagon wheel-style pretzels
- a bag of Rolo-style chocolate caramels
- cashews or your favorite nuts
- Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and lay unbroken pretzels on top.
- Top each pretzel with a piece of the chocolate caramel candy and bake for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and press a cashew into the melted candy.
- Let cool and then ENJOY!
