Recipe: Caramel Chocolate Pretzel Bites

My friend Laurel told me about these delicious little snacks she tried when visiting her boyfriend’s family for the Christmas holiday. When I went shopping for the ingredients, I found the recipe on the back of the candy bag! I’m tweaking it a little because Mark isn’t crazy about pecans. I hope you enjoy these easy and addictive treats! You can watch the how-to video here.

For this recipe, you will need:

  • a bag of square, grid-style pretzels, or wagon wheel-style pretzels
  • a bag of Rolo-style chocolate caramels
  • cashews or your favorite nuts
  1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and lay unbroken pretzels on top.
  3. Top each pretzel with a piece of the chocolate caramel candy and bake for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and press a cashew into the melted candy.
  5. Let cool and then ENJOY!
